Affectionately known as Salma by friends and loved ones, Salamatu Abubakar was born in Kumasi. Salma had her primary and secondary school education in Nigeria. Salma has also studied at RABODEF Radio Academy where she took courses in voice and speech development, news announcing and broadcast journalism. Salma worked for four years as a Traffic Manager and radio talk show host at a popular radio station in Kumasi. Currently Salma also hosts a popular programme on social issues at Ahenema Radio in Kumasi. Salma enjoys meeting friends, watching movies and listening to music. Salma is happily married.

A sociable and smiley gentleman as he is, Douglas Asante loves to share fun with friends and relations. What fascinates him most is nature and how diversified it is. He thinks that each one is unique in themselves and to that effect, one must ‘dare to be different’ in every encounter of life.

He has been a professional teacher for 14 years now. Currently, he is enrolled in a Master’s Degree Programme at Ohio University, by distance.

His real name is Franklyn Opoku Asare but due to his hardworking attitude in his early days in school, his friends chose to call him Okonko. Okonko comes from Agona, near Mampong in the Ashanti Region. Okonko had his high school education at Kumasi High School and continued on to the Ghana Institute of Journalism for a diploma in broadcasting. Okonko has and continues to work with several broadcasting houses in Ghana. His hobbies include playing football and listening to music. DJ Okonko’s desire is to serve, inform and entertain all Ghanaians around the world.

Born in the Northern Region of Ghana (Tamale), to Mr. and Mrs. B.B Harun, Thaddeus Harun had his basic education at the Kaleo Catholic Basic Primary School and continued at Wa Senior Secondary School. He furthered his education at the Offinso Teacher Training College after which he taught for 3 years. Upon admission at the University of Education of Winneba, Kumasi Campus (UEW), he joined the team at Mynd 105.1 FM where he was in charge of the drive time.

DJ Harun, as he is known by his fans, is currently a third year student at UEW offering B. Ed in Information Technology Education.

Addai Mensah- Gyamfi, popularly known as Nana Akushika is a very funny and creative guy to listen to. Akushika hails from Mampong in the Ashanti Region and is an Alumni of Konongo Odumasi Secondary School. He holds a Diploma in Journalism from Lincoln Media Institute and is currently studying for an Accounting Diploma at the Kumasi Polytechnic. Akushika’s hobbies include playing football, making new friends and reading. Akushika is single and is hoping to be swept off his feet in the very near future.

Most of his fans love to call him “Tony Best” but his real name is Anthony Owusu. He has made a lot of difference when it comes to Radio Broadcasting in the Ashanti Region, Kumasi. Tony Best has been in the Broadcasting business for the past six years and within these years, has trained a lot of people who are now working in some of the well established FM stations in Ghana.

Tony Best is a graduate of Adventist Secondary School, Kumasi and GMI Broadcasting College. He enjoys reading the Newspapers and watching music videos. He believes in training to attain and maintain a high level of achievement.

He was born in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and attended Kumasi High School. He loves creating fun, especially when with friends. King Agologo, his popular acclamation, was bestowed on him by friends because of his love for food. Agologo says ‘that don’t you dare leave your food alone with me’.

King Agologo hopes to set up his own enterprise, J K Owusu Entergprise, a Victoria’s Secret style shop that deals exclusively in Ladies Lingerie.

Owusu Patrick, aka Bush, loved sports the very moment he was old enough to kick the football. He had his primary education at the Peters Educational Center and his secondary education at the Kumasi High School (Mmrantee).

Due to His love for sports, he decided to work as a sports broadcaster after his 3 year post secondary education at the Wesley College. Bush is a trained teacher and a graduate of Spanky and Reagan Sports College. He enjoys listening to music and watching football and athletics.
